Keeper Denim source their denim from ISKO, one of the world’s largest sustainable denim producers. The denim is from their Earth Fit collection and manufactured at their mill in Turkey. It is Standard 100 OEKO-TEX® certified, which confirms no toxic substances are contained within the material. The denim is comprised of organic cotton certified by GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and recycled post-consumer PET bottles. ISKO is also the only denim mill in the world to have been awarded with two prestigious certifications; the Nordic Swan Ecolabel and the EU Ecolabel, for their Earth Fit collection.
Keeper Denim jeans are manufactured in Melbourne with factory certified by Ethical Clothing Australia. This ensures local garment workers are paid fairly, receive all their legal entitlements and have safe working conditions. Once the jeans are made, our local denim artisans use a manual brushing technique to lightly fade each pair of our jeans, giving them a ‘worn’ look, rather than the conventional method of harsh chemicals such as bleach.
$5 from each pair of jeans sold will be donated to the International Elephant Project (IEP), a not-for-profit organisation who support the conservation of elephants in Sumatra, through the protection of rainforests and local community partnerships.
